Yoga
"Sthira Sukham Asanam" Sutra 2.46
Pranayama. Meditation. Asana.
Space to move, breathe, slow down, and meet yourself exactly where you are.
Community
Come on your own or bring a friend. Either way, you won't stay strangers for long.
Shared meals, extraordinary days, honest conversations - and friendships that have a funny way of following you home.

Where will you go next?
Three very different adventures. The same Mako magic.
Family Retreat - Veracruz
Yoga - Adventure - Finn Lough
Cairo - Aswan - Nile - Luxor

Come Alone. Find Your People.
Meet Liz
Liz came to her first Mako Retreat on Cape Cod alone.
She was looking for something surprisingly hard to find as an adult: friends.
She found them.
Sine then, Liz has returned to the Cape Cod retreat seven times and traveled with Mako to Alaska, Bali, and Italy.
What started as one weekend became friendships, adventures, and a community that followed her home.
She came for a retreat. She found her people.
Coming solo? You're in good company.
The best part
is who you meet
along the way.

MEET MANDY
The care behind every adventure.
I'm Mandy - founder of Mako Retreats, yoga teacher, lifelong adventureer, and the person obessing over all the little details before you ever pack your bag.
I"ve taught yoga for more than 16 yeays and led experiences around the wrold, but what I care most about is creating the kind of space where people can settle in, feel safe, laugh hard, try something new, and actually connect.
I choose the places. I build the journeys. I teach the yoga. And when you show up alone wondering whether this was a terrible idea, I'll be there, too.
Come for the adventure. I'll help hold the space.

Don't just take my word for it...
“I have met so many great friends at their retreats and developed lasting connections because of the community they foster.”
— Laura
“Every detail was well-organized and thoughtful. I was able to completely relax and enjoy the adventure!”
— Erin
“This was the weekend I didn't know I needed.”
— Aimee
