Wild Within: A Yoga Safari Retreat
Join Mandy Morell on a journey into the heart of Botswana’s wilderness to awaken the wild within—where yoga meets safari, and spirit meets adventure.
March 13-21 2027

Munga Plains
Join Mandy for an unforgettable week-long yoga & safari retreat in Bostwana and Zimbabwe.

We will spend most of our time at Munga Plains, a safari camp created for yogis, where every detail is shaped by nature. Comfortable glamping tents immerse you in the sounds of the wild, and a dedicated Shala opens onto endless savannah, inviting a deep return to presence.
What makes it truly special is its setting on the edge of Chobe National Park — home to the highest concentration of elephants in the world, where four African countries meet, wildlife roams freely, and horizons stretch into infinity. It’s an unforgettable journey back to nature and to what matters most.

Munga Plains is dedicated to the well-being and growth of the local community. Situated on the former tribal land of the Basubiya people, they honor their cultural heritage by hiring local staff, supporting artisans, and collaborating on community projects. Guests will experience local traditions and lifestyles, ensuring every visit positively impacts the community.
Sustainability is at the core of Munga Plains. Their facilities, built with wood, thatching grass, and canvas, have a minimal environmental impact, use solar power, and treat their own water and sewage. The eco-friendly safari activities support Chobe National Park's conservation efforts, home to the world's highest concentration of elephants.

Prepare for a one-of-a-kind journey through the heart of Africa, culminating in their serene setting amidst the flooded plains of Northern Botswana. The unique location offers a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure.

In addition
If you've never been to the African continent before, you may want to spend more than just one week there! The advantage of being in Botswana is that you are at the convergence of 5 countries: Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, and Botswana, and South Africa is very close as well! Therefore, you may want to tack on a trip to one of these countries before or after the trip. We are happy to help you plan this!
